Administrative Update

[Jack] A couple administrative points. In order to keep track of who's writing, we'll add our names at the front of each posting. And we'll use different colors for the type.

I can safely say that Chris and Matt will be well equiped for the 4 days on the Northern Loop Trail in Mt. Rainier National Park that starts on Monday. When I saw that they each have 5 water bottles and Matt has about 200 feet of thick rope, I knew they were going to be fine. The only thing lacking right now is food - and we'll be getting that tomorrow when we go to REI.

It's going to be a busy day tomorrow - REI when the doors open in the morning, then hydroplane boat races (www.seafair.com) and Blue Angels zooming overhead, then down to Safeco Field for the last half of the Seattle vs. Oakland ballgame, and finally back home to finish up packing for a very early start on Monday. Like 6am early. I'm not sure whether it would be better to try to wake Matt that early, or just have him sleep in the car overnight...

Watch for updates...

Please tell the boys how glad Grandma Sharon is to be aware of the blog site. What an adventure they will have!!!!!!!
Stay safe!

Will do! They run to the computer at the end of the day to fill the blog with their impressions. It should be great fun when we get back on Thursday after rambling around the mountains for 4 days.
